December 2019
Christmas 

The Christmas fancy dress event didn't disappoint again this year.
Congratulations to winners Sue and Kelton with runners up Steve and Bob.

Thanks to Ian Rossiter for judging the best costume, won by Sue and thanks for everyone who brought nibbles for the tea break!

A great way to end off the year, here's to a fantastic 2020, kicking off with presentation evening on the 18th January!

Parker Cup

Well another amazing afternoon of tennis at Boldmere in spite of the weather. It's fair to say that the last 20 minutes were a little miserable, so thank you to everyone for seeing it through to the bitter end!
Congratulations go to winners Lesley and Steve with runners up being Sue and Paul.

Taylor Cup

The weather was kind to us after and all the matches were completed with even some sunshine!

​Finals Weekend

After a fantastic Saturday, Sunday didn't disappoint, what a super weekend we had. We saw some great tennis and the sun shone for us!

Congratulations to all our winners and a special congratulations to Suzanne Bishop who achieved the Boldmere Grand Slam by winning 4 events. This is the first time, we believe, that this has been achieved. Well done Suzanne!

A big thank you also goes to all the umpires and line judges and everyone who came along to support over the weekend.

Finally, thank you to Anwen, for organising the BBQ on Saturday evening.

 A great first day of Finals Weekend. Great tennis played and lovely weather. It was great to see so many members down today supporting the finalists. Well done to all those who played. Suzanne won the ladies singles with Anwen as runner up. Suzanne and Sammy won the mixed doubles which was a tight match with some of the best tennis played at the club going to three sets. Runners up were David and Michelle.
The day finished off with a great BBQ and an amazing sunset.

Our first tournament of the new new year was a great success, the weather was kind and the afternoon tea was as always amazing.

​The first event of 2019 (even if it was one carried forward from 2018!) was a great start to the New Year.

​Christmas Tournament

Another fantastic event to get the Christmas festivities underway. Some great fancy dress costumes which didn't seem to get in the way of some excellent tennis.
